My Uncle Harold was a Great Man. He was loving to his family, his extended family and to his friends. Growing up, I have many memories of Christmas's with the train platform, a Birthday present with a huge box and small package inside, pranks at birthday parties with ice cream, Ham & Oyster Dinners working with Uncle Harold. He became my family Medical technician, due to his being Captain of the Ambulance squad. I knew that when one of my children had an injury or problem, he was the man to call first, and he always was ready to help me. I remember when the children celebrated Veterans day at school, everybody wanted Uncle Harold as their favorite Veteran to have lunch with them at school. He was my Uncle, my friend, my teacher, my Hero and so very much more and I will miss him so very much. I know he is in Heaven with my Dad and daughter Kathy. He served so many people in his lifetime, now it is his time to rest. I love you Uncle Harold, Rest in Peace.

My fondest memories of Uncle Harold revolve around his garden, holiday dinners, the train platform, ham and oyster dinners at the fire house, and Christmas lights. Once I was at the house learning about canning. Having never seen a plum tomato, I was quite impressed how he grew those special tomatoes! He looked at me and laughed! A special part of summer was always the night we had strawberry shortcake for dinner! I will remember him as kind, down to earth and very giving to his community. Being the out of towner,it was quite a treat. Much love to all my precious family!

Harold was a major help in making me a better mechanic at work. We would always ride together and he would fix anything I broke. Kept me out of trouble many times and was a big force in me having a successful career. He was my mentor, my coworker but more than that, he was my friend.

Mr.Rishel was auch a good man. I have a lot of memories with the Sewell Firehall and my parents and how much he loved my dad. But now he is there with Bucky maybe having coffee.
